How to Make Cannabis-Infused Chocolate

I think most of us have a sweet tooth and love our chocolate, at the same time, we like to enjoy and relax with a magical hit now and again. But what if I say to you that you can combine the two? Wouldn’t it seem like a dream come true?

Well, the dream has come true and you can have the best of both worlds because you can now make your weed-infused chocolate.

How to make cannabis-infused chocolate

Don’t worry anyone can make it and you don’t need to go out to buy special equipment and ingredients, the basics will do.

There are different ways that you can mix your weed and chocolate, maybe making brownies or hot chocolate on a cold winter’s night, but if you are looking for a great recipe, you will need the following:

  •        Parchment paper and a baking sheet
  •         100g of dark chocolate that is broken into small pieces
  •         A saucepan
  •         A bowl
  •         A mold or anything similar to a mold
  •         Anywhere between 3to 5g of a high-quality bud

Now that you know what you will need let us look at the process:

  1. Decarboxylate

This is the first step you will need to do before you start making your cannabis chocolate. Yes, it might sound like a lot of work, but it will be worth it in the end. THCA and CBDA is converted into more active forms that are known as THC and CBD.

Grind your weed and then place it on the parchment paper on the baking sheet. Now put it in the oven that has been preheated to 240 degrees Fahrenheit and then leave it to bake for 30 minutes. You can heat it for another 5 to 10 minutes, if necessary. It is ready when it is dried out. You can now move on to Step 2.

  1. Melt the chocolate

You will need to find a bowl that will fit into the top of the saucepan that you are using without it touching the bottom. Now pour hot water into the saucepan to cover the base but that it does not reach as high as the base.

You need to take the pieces of chocolate and place it in the bowl and then set it over your saucepan. Turn it to medium heat this will ensure that the water is simmering, and your chocolate will not burn. Keep on stirring the chocolate until it is melted into a liquid form. You can now turn off the heat.

  1. You can now mix in the cannabis

Add the cannabis and make sure to stir it well.

  1. Time for the molds

You can now pour the chocolate into the molds or anything similar to a mold.

  1. Get rid of any air bubbles

You can gently drop the molds on the counter this will ensure that the air bubbles are released.

  1. Refrigerate

Now leave your cannabis chocolate in the fridge to set. The time it takes depends on the cholate you use. It can take 10 to 15 minutes if the right chocolate is used.

  1. The last step is to remove your cannabis chocolate from the molds and now you can enjoy it. Remember to go slow because they take up to 2 hours to start feeling the effects.

If you don’t want to get high but still want to feel relaxed while eating your chocolate, why not try CBD chocolate?

But the problem is when you eat the chocolate, the cocoa flavanols percentage is reduced a great deal because of the processing and adding things like milk, sugar, and eggs.

Give me chocolate anytime and you will see how I get happy instantly. You know what I’m talking about, it can be the worse day ever, but chocolate always saves the day. Okay, but on a serious note, it can put you in a better mood. How?

5.       It may help with blood circulation

Usually, you will take an aspirin to prevent blood clots from happening, but studies have shown that chocolate can deliver the same effect, amazing right?
